Jacob Moremen, MD, received a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He received his medical degree at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.  

He then completed his general surgery residency at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Moremen pursued his devotion toward the study of medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine in the division of Cardiothoracic Surgery. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.  

Dr. Moremen has written numerous scholarly articles and continues his research of medicine to benefit his patients as a Chairman for the VA Interdisciplinary Tumor Board Conference and Department of Surgery Quality Council. His involvement as an Education Committee member for the Chest Wall Injury Society and Cancer Liaison Physician for the VA Cancer Committee keeps him focused as a medical expert in his field of study.
