Craig Adams, MD, is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon with decades of experience in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery.

Dr. Adams earned his medical degree from Georgetown University, where he also earned his bachelor ofscience in chemistry. He completed his general surgery internship and residency at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, a research fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation and a residency in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

His clinical focus includes complex heart surgery, coronary artery bypass procedures, heart valve surgery and surgical treatment of diseases affecting the chest, including the lungs and major blood vessels. 

Dr. Adams is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is committed to delivering precise, evidence-based surgical care that prioritizes safety, outcomes and long-term cardiovascular health.
